It’s been a while since our last TCP On the Road post, but the team has been busier than ever! Read on to find out all about what our man in the north, Jon, and our woman in the south, Nat, have been up to for the past couple of months.
Nat’s great escape….
As you might have noticed by her envy-inspiring pictures posted all over our Facebook page, Nat has been lucky enough to experience a week in paradise with Paul Gauguin Cruises. There’s little use trying to sum up this trip of a lifetime in a couple of sentences here, so head to our recent blog post which tells you all about this amazing trip to find out more.
With a new personal perspective and passion for Paul Gauguin Cruises (despite having woken up from jet lag at 1.30am!) Nat set off to share her pearls of wisdom with Ashdown Travel. She was very excited to talk about her experience of Paul Gauguin with Nick and the team.
Nat has also been sharing the TCP love by delivering The Sovereign Cruise Club’s Crystal Cruises’ Platinum Agents Award (and a lot of prosecco!) – a big thank you to Stefan and all the team – enjoy the bubbles!
Our Man in the North
Jon’s been in Amsterdam again to see the beautiful Crystal Bach (we think it’s his second home!), this time with Emily, who works at the TCP office in London. Jon & Emily were joined by Helen from Inspiring Travel Company and Kat & Ben from River Voyages. They had a great day onboard, with a tour by the lovely host Mercedes, and a delicious lunch prepared by the Crystal chefs.
A bit closer to home, Jon took a trip to the Kyle Travel event at Barnard Castle – it was great to speak to their clients all about Crystal Cruises and what they can look forward to when they cruise with the World’s Best.
Jon also attended the Cruise Challenge evening in Nottingham, with three other cruise companies and twenty-five travel agents. The agents had a really fun evening, learning about the USPs of the cruise companies attending.
Jon was joined by Elaine from the office to attend the SPAA Awards evening in Glasgow….a lovely quiet, no drinking, early to bed evening !! It was a great opportunity to catch up with our travel agent partners in Scotland.
Jon went to the Travel Counsellors annual Conference at the SEC in Glasgow with Megan from the office. It’s always a great weekend with some great motivational speakers, but it was also a great opportunity to meet with the Travel Counsellors at the Saturday Pow Wow session…..with over 700 TCs attending from all over the world.
Stay tuned for more updates on our lovely sales team in the coming months, as the festive season keeps them occupied.
