Culinary Inspiration

Our most important feature of the dry-dock – highly anticipated is the introduction of open dining in Waterside, the Marketplace and Churrascaria! Guests will still need to book a reservation in our speciality restaurants including our new venue, Silk.

The evolution continues throughout all our dining venues, promising more dining experiences to tempt the most discerning palates. Changes include a menu revamp in our speciality restaurant; Prego, and a name change of our classic dining room to Waterside. Our World-famous Silk Road in partnership with Nobuyaki ‘Nobu’ Matsuhisa will be taking on the new name of ‘Umi Uma’ but will still feature the same dishes we know and LOVE from Silk Road!

New venues onboard include the Marketplace; a fresh, open space for breakfast and lunch with an open kitchen and by night, this space turns into Churrascaria; a Brazilian steakhouse serving a mouth-watering selection of tapas and other Brazilian cuisine. Crystal’s other brand new dining venue is Silk, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner serving Chinese-inspired al fresco cuisine on deck.

Digital Evolution

Beginning 21st October 2017, guests will have access to complimentary Wi-Fi 24 hours a day across our whole fleet of Ocean, River and Yacht vessels and all devices; tablets, laptops and smartphones. Other changes in the digital world on our ship include the screening of pre-DVD release movies in our Hollywood Theatre onboard Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity.

The end of the dry-dock will signal the start of Crystal Connect, an exclusive internet portal and app featuring the ships’ daily reflections and international newspapers. Guests can also use this portal to book spa appointments, shore excursions and much more! Every single stateroom and suite onboard Crystal Symphony will have a brand new interactive televisions that allow guests to stream movies and TV shows, order room service and watch pre-recorded destination lectures before sailing peacefully into port.
